If you weren't a bit **** you wouldn't be working on it-- I used to do timelocks for vault doors (I guess i still do just not as often) There is a big liability-- it you do it wrong- it will not work-- door not open-- and believe me they are much easier to work on when the door is open then when it is shut!
Yep, I have cleaned and lubricated a few pocket watches, I didn't get it to shine quite like this person, but I got them to work and hold time. Some timelocks for old vault doors used pocket watch inserts to run them. (modified a little of course)
