Front end decisions

Ok so bad news... Got into a little accident today... While pulling out of a parking lot someone went around the car letting me out and I couldn't stop in time... Only my bumper took the hit thankfully

His car didn't fare so well

So my question is seeing as how I need a new bumper I'm looking for ideas as far as what to do with it... I've thought about color matching an OEM one... I've thought about a rancho bumper or something like that... I've even thought about a black bumper to contrast the white... I'd love suggestions or opinions on my ideas basically any help I can get

Does your bumper serve a purpose for you other than what it just endured? Do you push, pull, winch, etc things with it? Is there a large quantity of medium to large roadkill in your daily drive?

If none of these are "yes" I would bide my time and see what pops up as a take-off on CL or Ebay locally. If any of the answers are affirmative, look at more custom bumpers that meet that need.

I, for instance, will regularly be pushing broken cars around (I call them race cars, most would not) either to bump start or push them onto the trailer when they blew up really good. I would be going for a bumper that has push bars with rubber pads. As it is I am looking for an aftermarket add on for just that. On my beater tow vehicles I just bungee a spare tire (no rim) to the bumper but my new truck is too pretty for that.

I have the occasional deer wander in front of me but beyond that it's purely aesthetic I'm just curious what people think looks good

Not my forte then...I use my truck as a tool only.

Just buff it out and move on.
I find that by and large I prefer the stock bumper. Most after market units look more like after thought to me.

u might want to look into the 11 up bumper conversion
there are some photos of them on this forum

if u do body color u should change the rear also

if u do custom aftermarket u should change rear also to custom aftermarket
