Firewall bracket for brake booster/MC?

Anyone that has mounted their booster/MC to the firewall, what bracket did you use? I'd prefer a bracket that triangulates to connect to the dash (at the steering column). I cannot get a booster/MC that will work on the frame as theres just too much in the way to make it work (transmission, crossmember, exhaust). That is unless I go with manual brakes. The front and rear brakes (4 wheel disc) are from a 2007 Crown Victoria police car. Thanks!

On the project I'm working on now and on my panel I used CPP's hanging brake pedal and booster for my 56.

Was it straightforward as to where to drill/cut the hole in the firewall? I like how flat the booster is on that setup.

This is the one I used, it's for 53-56 f-100 . I did have to add a 1/4" thick plate between the firewall and brake pedal bracket so it would line up with the holes on the dash, this plate might not be needed with the 53-55 f-100..

It only took about 1/2 hour to install , the instructions are very straight forward. Drill the first hole 7" down with a hole saw and on the center of the rib , then use the plate to mark the remaining 4 holes to mount the booster. Then just bolt everything up..

John how do you like the pedal height? I used the same kit and the pedal seemed
like it would be pretty high when I first mocked it up. I havent reinstalled it yet though.

If you like fabricating your own brackets, you might look at what I did on my F100. Starts at post #46.

I have that same pedal in my panel and find it okay, there is adjustment that you can do where the pedal attaches to the booster rod.
