On the "outside" chance I reversed the pressure hoses at the hydro boost on my truck, which side of the hydro boost does the pump pressure hose go to ?
I changed the pump and both pressure lines and sumptin's not right.
The steering wheel and brake peddle is jerking, and humming when braking..
Never had anything like this happen on such a simple task..
I shoulda took a pic.
You probably have or are getting air into the system. Did you turn the steering wheel lock to lock after the assembly? Have you checked all the fittings (connections) ? My daughters '08 had a loose fitting and the steering would hum and the brake would bump-back until I found and tightened the fitting.
PROBLEM SOLVED, THE HYDRO BOOST HOSES ARE "NOT" REVERSIBLE
Couldn't find any ptfe seals to replace the ones I destroyed so some 1/2 x 3/32 rings from my plumbing box snug fit the fittings and inside the female side.
Everything came back to normal function soon as I switched hoses around... no damage

Something is wrong with your correction. At the beginning, you say the hoses ARE NOT REVERSIBLE, and at the end you say problem solved as soon as I SWITCHED THE HOSES AROUND. Something there makes no sense.

I mean to say they are FLOW DIRECTIONAL, DON'T reverse the fluid flow through the booster.
Yes the hoses can be installed in either port but you'll get all kinds of brake pulsing & steering wheel jerking.
Must be some kind of valving or check in the booster...
