Recently bought this truck and encountered a no start and noticed my battery voltage was low. Removed batteries to charge. PO had installed a aFe stage 2 intake with battery box built in. When removing the battery notice that the mounts wher broke off the box so I removed it to weld it up while I was at it. To remove the tube I had to remove the maf sensor but the grommet had turned to granite so rather than bust the sensor I heated a utility knife and cut away the grommet. Now going to put back together cannot find a replacement grommet been everywhere including ford. Also called aFe and they said you have to use your old one when installing their $500 kit. Wtf. Anyway if anyone can tell me where I can find one that would be great. Oem or otherwise anything I can shade tree up. 1-1/16 id 1-1/4 groove dia. 1/4 groove depth 1-5/8 od overall depth 1/2 inch. Can fudge on od and overall depth. Thanks.
yes I might have to go that route. A buddy of mine has an oem filter set up because he put a s&b box on his but guess what... Had to use the original grommet on his kit as well. This is unbelievable that these companies can't crap out a grommet with the $500 package. Would rather have original filter anyway but just trying to get truck figured out at this point new too me.
Tried at local ford dealership said unavailable. Even tried to order the entire tube section with grommet attached said unavailable. I can't be the only one that has had a grommet harden to the point of non use. Maybe I'm just dealing with a poor parts counter at my local dealership seemed to be rediculous to me. If anyone knows the part number that might help them along.

Wow thanks a lot. I'm going to check my local salvage yard here in Iowa. If that falls thru I'll give riverside a call. Still can't believe you can't get a new one just a few of these trucks on the road. Thanks for your help
Well just got back from salvage yard and they had nothing. Going to try blue springs ford but they are not around until Monday. Going to talk to them on the phone.
I've tried all parts and hardware stores in my area. Menards, true value, etc and the local ford dealership. It's frustrating that I can't get this back together and figure out my no start situation. Been down for three weeks without batteries in it waiting hoping praying and finally posting trying to find a @&&@&$@"" grommet that should be available at any ford dealership in the country. Just a few of these trucks on the road as well as other models that probably share this part. Also frustrating that the aftermarket air intake companies can't include a new one with a $400 kit. Got my hands full with this truck just bought knowing it needed suspension work and before I could get started on that discovered a coolant leak from the egr delete jpipe tried to start to pinpoint and no start occurred. Is what lead up to this grommet nightmare. Sorry for the rant just haven't got any pleasure from the monthly payments just yet
