hey what do you guys think about header wrap, my truck is really hot under the hood, and i would like to wrap my headers, is it bad for the headers?

If it is a daily dirver. condensation will buil up and rot the headers out.

I assume that all the proper checks have been made that EGTs are in line for this motor. High exhaust temps cause real problems with headers as they radiate the heat more effectively.
If you have problems with timing, mixture, or valves your EGTs will be higher than expected resulting in increased underhood temps - IMO.
