Bent Trailer Wiring Connector Bracket

So I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later...I bent the bracket for the trailer wiring connector on some rough road.

I am not really happy with this OEM configuration since it sits to low for my liking.

Does anyone know of a better setup?

Truck is a 2011 F250

Only other place I can think of besides in the bed would be beside the license plate bracket.

don't know without looking if you could even get it in there.

So there is room in the bumper if you desire to do that.

Don't know what RV/trailer you are pulling, but for my 5er I put in just inside the bed on drivers side. The cable didn't have to be lengthened nor cut. Cable is run inside under the tailgate.
