Engine Knock...

UPDATE:
First, Thank you Mr. Chan for suggesting Randy. Great guy, great work
So number 8 injector was making the noise, however number 2 actually had the performance issue and threw off the balance. Number 2 was replaced, and so far no noise from number 8. Of course that number 8 replacement may be in my future.
Anyway, thanks to all that commented.
PS- also confirmed that the bearings in my diff. are noisy. but that's another adventure..

Knocking sound
Hey firebus!
Would like to know if your problem has been solved with this repair?
I have the same sound on my truck.
Dealer had the truck twice for a week in the shop and can't get a diagnostic...
Since injector has been replaced, have you hear the knocking sound again?
Thank you!

So in the end, we replaced number 2, and find that number 8 is quieter, but not perfect. So I should probably replace it as well at some point. I did find that it was quieter when using the Motorcraft Lubricity fuel additive.
Bottom line, the tech can turn off one injector at a time, and you will know it when it shuts up..
Hope that helps, reply back when you get it sorted. BTW, how many miles on yours?

Well, yes and no. So I didn't not have an engine light on, With the Ford diag. tool, he turned off one injector at a time. When he came around to number 8, it was clear as day that 8 was making the knock. HOWEVER... When doing a balance test (same diag tool) Number 2 was not performing properly, while number 8 was performing, but noisy.
So in the end, we replaced number 2, and find that number 8 is quieter, but not perfect. So I should probably replace it as well at some point. I did find that it was quieter when using the Motorcraft Lubricity fuel additive.
