Trans cooler

I have a 03 f250, looking to do a trans cooler on it. Any recommendations? I keep reading about the 6.0 swap. Thoughts?

The 6.0 5r110w transcooler is the way to go.

Why dos it work the best. Is there a certain year of the 6.0 that I should order? How much modifications must be made to use the 6.0 cooler?

From 03-07 they are all the same, you will need some reducers the 6.0 transcooler has a bigger inlet and outlet, cant remember the size it was a while back when I installed one on my obs and my wifes Excursion.

Twice the size of stocker. Works great. Easy install. Few hours. I believe you can get them in two sizes.

Forgot to mention the 6.0 brakets bolt on the stock holes of the oem location.

That write up is far to complicated.

Install the cooler from underneath and not have to uninstall anything other than the Power steering cooler just enough to move it out of the way. some 1/2" to 3/8" male barb hose adapters, some 1/2" rated hose a few hose clamps and you're set.
