Adjusting sleeve doodad

I am wrapping up what snowballed into a front suspension freshen up. Among other things, I am replacing the tie rods and drag link with all new moog "problem solver" parts. The new ones came with everything with the exception of the little extra clamp doodad that clamps to the tie rods and then has the arm that fits between the notches of the adjusting sleeve clamp. I wasn't sure if that wasn't necessarily needed since a new one wasn't included or if it's just a little extra redundancy to make sure if the adjusting sleeve came loose it wouldn't spin?

In a nutshell, no it is not needed.
