I have a 1994 ford f150 xlt 5.0/302. I am having touble finding out the front and rear axle sizes so i can get the right gear oil weight. I know the rear is a 8.8 ratio. But dont know the front yet. How do i get the info

The rear is not an "8.8 ratio." It's an 8.8 axle. The 8.8 refers to the diameter of the ring gear. The gear ratio has nothing to do with it.

The front is a Dana 44 twin traction beam (TTB) axle. That's the axle that EVERY 4x4 F150 from that year had.

The correct gear oil is any 90 weight, such as 80w-90 or 75w-90. As long as the second number is 90, it'll work. Conventional or synthetic, whichever you prefer.

The door tag should have the code for what the ratio is suppose to be(if no one changed it). If not, you can look for the tag on the one of the bolts for the cover. It will tell you.
