My friends and I are seniors now and were planning a trip for this summer, we want to go somewhere in Flordia. Do you all have any suggestionsas to where we could go? We want to be on the beach, so where should we go?

There are so many good beaches in FL I don't know where to start. Daytona Beach is a favorite and if you get tired of watching all the girls you could go to Disney/GMG/Universal studios.

It all depends on what your looking for and how much you want to spend. If you just want beach, water and babes, then Destin is okay. If you want other things too, then Daytona is the way to go. Within 60 miles you have Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach, Titusville and the space shuttle, Kissimmee with all the theme parks and Orlando with a lot of night spots to visit. Don't miss Rosey O'Gradys in downtown Orlando and Old Town in Kissimmee. I'm probably leaving out a lot of Central Florida attractions, but you get the idea. Then if you go north for a couple hundred miles you will be at Live Oak and I'll let you all work on and polish my F150 so you can get your FTE fix.

Anywhere but Jacksonville. I just transfered from there and it has to be the most boring city in the state! Daytona has a beautiful beach, so does Ft. Lauderdale.

I like the St. Petersburg area, you have the beach on the bay, plenty of surf, skin, and other good stuff. But most anywhere in Florida is expensive. Try $700/wk (that's on the low end!!) and that's just for the rooms. Meals are very expensive unless you happen to like McD's a lot. Better start saving now.
