The V6 is a completely different engine design from the modular V8 & V10. The 4.2 V6 does not have any spark plug issues.
The modular engines are overhead cam and the spark plugs sit in a deep well.
The V6 spark plugs are just hanging out by the exhaust manifold like most older engines.
The spark plug problems occur because on some years there were too few threads holding in the spark plug and also the torque spec was too low. The coil on plug configuration further complicated the issue because owners were even less likely to pull off all the COPs and retorque all the spark plugs. Then on 3 valve 5.4s the spark plugs used a different 2 piece design that can fall apart upon extraction if left in the engine too long.
The 4.2 V6 is fine on spark plugs. The biggest problem I know of on mine has been the intake isolator bolts needing replaced. It is a lot of work, but not especially difficult. Otherwise, keep oil in it, keep it tuned up, and drive the wheels off it.
Make sure you get the wires in the right place on the coil and to the correct cylinder.

Thanks a bunch that helps a lot. .im getting a miss now an then and after I changed the oil It's been making a slight ticking sound? I used 5w30..would that be to heavy? Or could it be the intake leeking? Just got it so gotta look at it this weekend.

I would look at intake , and exhaust manifold possible, leak, does it quite a bit when it warms up, could be exhaust manifold
