Nah, he just used surface mount capacitors when he needed through-hole style. They'll work, but I suspect they'll break off from vibration.
If you're really set on using the surface mount caps, I would desolder them, run a little of wire down into the capacitor hole, and bring the wire over to the pad on the capacitor so they're more secure mechanically.
I'd personally order the correct capacitors though.
I used the same capacitors that where in there originally. In the earlier post adout the pin style caps and I took a pic of the surface mount. I don't think I could have used pin style.. I did cap for cap.
UPDATE (In creepy scientists voice) SHE'S ALIVE So new iac valve came in today. Installed both put repaired pcm back in and fired right up idled at 1100 rpm then kick down to 700 rpms idled nice and even. Took for a test drive and all in good shape. Thank you guy's very much for ALL the help I greatly appreciated.
