Need Help Bad
hi all,
Got my fuel injectors changed in february and my truck hasn't run the same since. Engines stalls in stop and go traffic. I noticed that my rpms drops below 500 when I take my feet off the gas and thats when it stalls. When I'm in traffic or stopped at a light I have to keep my foot on the gas lightly to keep her above 500 rpms.
So I took her to the dearler and they found the following codes:
P1121 - Throttle Position Sensor Inconsistent with Mass Air Flow Sensor
P1506 - Idle Air Control Over Speed Error
What does this mean? And how can I fix this.
I have a 98 Explorer XLT.

Clean the MAF sensor.
Engine Ping Detonation Explorer Maintenance
See if that fixes it. If not, continue with the IAC module. My guess is you need to do both.
