hello, I just recently changed my epc (pressure solenoid) on my 5r110 trans. My truck is a 04 6.0 with almost 200k on it. The trans had a delay from park to Drive and this did fix the issue. however, now i seem to have another issue. While driving, once every 10-15 minutes I'm getting a "hiccup" or abrupt buck or what feels like an abrupt downshift and the only consistantency I''m noticed it it happens between 30-40mph and not when the truck is accelerating. Any advice or help would be great, I'd hate to have to drop the valve body again but may be i didnt put something back together right. Also, i thought maybe it was low fluid, ive added 10.5 qts to it to get it in proper fluid level range while at operating temps, and its still acting up. Thanks

 

Has the tow/haul light flashed? That would indicate that codes are stored.

 

No tow/haul light flashing. only seems to happen in a certain gear, between 30-40mph. someone mentioned about letting the trans relearn but did not elaborate. thank you
