Swapping PCMs ?'s
I have a 2001 f250 that is totaled but already had a hydra chip in it and I just got an 02 f350 that is stock
My question is if I can just swap the PCMs so I can keep the chip or do I need to just buy a new chip?
There are different chips for each PCM and I haven't checked what PCM is in the 2002 yet

The PCMs would only be interchangable if both trucks have EXACTLY the same powertrain and there were no major changes made to the powertrain, EFI system, or wiring between those 2 years. It is much more likely the chip itself could be transplanted into the new truck and if the powertrain is the same it wouldn't need to be reprogrammed to work either.
