I also thought about cutting this in half at the bend and using that as the exit

I'm going to be doing a side exit exhaust too. One thing to consider is that with the tailpipes angled downward, your truck will blow up dust, including onto the truck, everywhere you drive. I'll be aiming mine straight out from under the bedsides.

This is where I am now. I have a few different tip options but I kinda like the stainless pipe. Not sure if I should come out more I have 1.5" to play with before I have to weld pipe.

TRY another inch , I think a little more visible pipe will be better

yup tape measures come free but don't use more than one to measure the same thing they dont measure the same. Still not in love with this look the vette bezels are looking more and more promising I may try to photoshop them first

I aimed for one-inch beyond the bed's flange at a 45° angle....

Thanks for all the extra sets of eyes. I'm either going dumps or zoomies or 65 vette thru the bed side I'm not crazy about the single 3" round pipe no matter how far in or out I set it.

Length and the angle are very important if you don't want to ruin your fenders!!
