Hose fitting on top of gas tank

On mt 79 F 250 rear tank I broke the plastic fitting that goes in the top of the tank. I think this is the return line? Does anyone have a source for this elbow? The motor no longer has the emissions stuff anymore and I'm not sure I need it but the new tank has the hole and I don't want water getting in there? I tried Googling it but can't even find what it called.

The fuel vapor valve is located on the top of the tank and is used with the Evaporative Emission System. The elbow for the fuel vapor hose is made as part of the valve.

D8AZ-9B593-A .. Fuel Vapor Valve-F100/350 & Econoline: Use with aft axle fuel tank / Obsolete

1973/74 F100/350 / 1975/87 F100/350, Bronco & Econoline / 1976/79 ALL FoMoCo Passenger Cars.

Should be available from auto parts stores.

If all the emissions is long gone is it necessary? Should I just plug it. I already bought the tank with the hole and don't want to send it back.

I have a 99 f250 and I'm trying to find where the hose that attaches to the fuel vapor valve goes and where it pops out near the engine to attach to the canister pressure valve.

No one on FTE has a 1990 and later truck parts catalog they can post a pic from, go to your local Ford dealer.

I just thought someone might have a general idea or a description.
