Is this the reservoir on top of the blower case you spoke of? How would i test it? Spray carb cleaner or something around it? Also I would like to replace that plastic line thats on it but where's the other end go? Thanks for the input on this
Also what vacuum reservoir is there mounted to the top of the blower motor casing i couldn't find one? Im dumb founded on that one? This idling problem is the only thing i cant seem to get fixed? Its just embarrassing to start your vevicle and it hunts for idle or dies! Or i have to give it throttle to get it to quit, hunting for idle!
Yes there is supply i just replaced that not two days ago with brand new silicone vac hose one goes to the intake the other to the bottom of the egr solenoid! Replaced that one too

I did replace the hose that goes to it at least totally missed that! Stupid me! Should i spray carb cleaner around that and see if the idle changes? Thanks again
And what if it was leaking? How would you replace that a whole new blower casing surley not? Or could you even find that vacuum tank thanks again rla and subford for the pic
You can cap the line going to HVAC reservoir as a test. The one on my old 1992 F350 was cracked and a PO tried using epoxy to fix it. Epic fail.....
It is removable and could be sourced from a salvage yard. Never looked for a new one.
My F350 had a plastic dual chamber reservoir on the passenger fender. The bottom portion was used for the air injection/thermactor system which was long gone. I used the bottom chamber as the the "new" HVAC reservoir.
Ok i can try that! so take the hose off,cap the line as if im not using it right rla? It should change idle speed? I guess is what your saying? Do you even need it? It must help control the heat and stuff? Thanks for the help!
