E4OD stands for Electronic 4-speed w/Over Drive. And, being electronic it requires a controller. Baumann makes several, and the prices start around $600 with wiring harness.

i just found one on cl for 150 with controller and harness. it has 220xxx on it but ill be rebuilding it so thats no a problem

yeah it is but after thinking about it im just going to stick with the c6 and build it. i want to keep it some what original
