Thanks everyone for their help, wife is out of town right now so I will see when she gets back about if the servo moves or not.
The 1st is the brake Master Cyc pressure switch. Do you have a short jumper installed or is plugged into the main harness directly ?? Is the pressure switch wet/leaking ?? You can test the fuss-able link patch (if you have one) by removing it & plug in directly. If you do not have one get one & a new pressure switch

There is no jumper or fuses in the line.
I removed it and tested the plug for continuity, which it had. From all the research I have done is that if it has continuity than it should not be the problem. Am I correct in thinking this?
That I do not know. You should strongly conciser buying the jumper/fuseable link. It was a recall FIX to keep the trucks from burning to the ground . I think the switch & jumper are sold as a pair on amazon for around $28..
Make sure you do not have a large vacuum leak like an unplugged hose or pvc valve. Mine would not engage after a tune up when the shop left a hose unplugged.

Would a vacuum line actually make it so that the cruise light doesn't even come on?
My recollection is that it did not give me a light since it would not engage. Unfortunately it has been a while so I am uncertain about the light but certain the problem, in my case, was vacuum.
I'm telling the truth when I say your cruise can set a code without turning on the light. I have a vehicle in my driveway with that exact symptom right now. It is the cruise/ABS pressure switch on the master cylinder on mine and it has a cruise control circuit high fault when reading codes, but the light on the dash is not on. The auto parts stores read them free and it might show on theirs. It is free to check....
Ok so I ran by a auto parts store and they said they can only pull codes if the SES light is on.
On the way there and back I was able to get the cruise light to come on at 25 MPH and the light would stay on until I went under 25 MPH or whenever I touched the brake. However, the cruise control didn't actually work.
Your parts store probably just doesn't know or has a policy about it. Either way your symptoms are a bit different now that you got the cruise light to come on.
Just wanted to post a thanks to the thread..... With the comments in here, I fixed my cruise control problem for $25 and a used cruise control servo from the junk yard..... It's been a few days now and working perfect.... Thanks Again......
