How big of rod ends do i need to run for my trac bar on my dana 44? i know bigger is always better...but i've got a bunch of 5/8 inch QA 1 rod ends layin around.

5/8" seems a little small to me for a track bar but then again, I tend to over-build everything. If they are of real good quality they will probably work fine.

5/8 will be adequate if they are quality. I see most use 3/4 (my preference) but 5/8 should be close enough for jazz. Since you have them, use 'em. You'll find out real quick if your driving style neccesitates 3/4.

Well heres the thing...i have a full machine shop available to me to fabricate anything i want when i'm at school...perks of being an engineering student.....but i built this trac bar last year before i went home for the summer with 5/8's and now i'm thinking i should have built it bigger...i fully intend to once i get back to school in a month or so, but until then i wanna use this. Maybe i'll just drive a bit nicer for a while.

Ehhhh, your going to replace it with a bigger unit anyways (good choice) so flog it and don't worry about it. Just keep clear of big rocks.
