I have to post this since I just noticed today. I have a knocking noise coming from the passengers bank. Not sure which one, but I can hear it mostly from inside the cab when idling. My truck has low miles, almost at 100k. The previous owner treated her with care, but towed a lot, and I mean A LOT. Not sure how much strain that'll put on injectors, but I've also noticed how my mpg are not what I was getting when I first bought the truck. I bought remans just in case. Also, how long do glow plugs continue to operate after starting the truck? Thanks in advance.
Buzz test only checks the IDM, wiring, Solenoid, etc, and does nothing to indicate issues with the oil or fuel sides. More diagnosis is needed to help narrow down.

If there is one loose, you can knock them all on top with a mallet then check torque of the hold-down bolt. If you find one (or more?) that take substantial turns of the wrench to tighten, then that injector should be removed and probably rebuilt.
