Hello all! I have been looking for an X for a while and reading everything I can on this forum for a few months now and finally found a 2002 Excursion Limited 4x4 with the 7.3 diesel. It was a single owner truck with 20
0,000 miles. I left it at a diesel shop this morning for a full inspection and just got a call back. The technician said he has never seen a 14 year old truck in such good condition. No leaks anywhere and the only thing he said needs replacing are the shocks and ball joints. I'm stoked with my new ride and even more so that the tech said it was in excellent condition. Thanks for all the good info in your posts that helped me track this one down.
Welcome and congrats on a bitchin' ride!! That is superb looking, especially as hard as black is to keep looking good. (I couldn't even get out of the driveway in Nevada without it looking horrible because of the dust!).
Enjoy and get your wallet ready for a workout; we're really good at helping folks spend money on great improvements!
Welcome to the best EX forum (and people) on the web!
That is a great looking EX, good luck with it!
Check to see if those roof rack bars are touching the roof paint, sometimes they do and it will wear the paint through under them.

I'm in Lake Elsinore, California. I'll get some inside pictures tomorrow when there is better light. I hope I can resist all the mods available for this beast, I've done a somewhat poor job of resisting the mod bug on my 2013 Mustang 5.0

Welcome to the club!! Good luck resisting the mod bug, I'm totally infected.
Welcome and congrats! I like the color too. I am a hop and a skip away from you at the other end of Ortega Hwy in OC. I also have a black one. Since we have little rain to help with the dust I am going to either Swifter it or get one of those red car dusters that I owned 20 years ago. Do they still even make those, lol?

The California Duster, I remember those red dusters. My mom lives in Anaheim, I usually take the 91, but once in a while we'll drive the Ortega. My son calls it the lost world and thinks one day he will see a dinosaur there.
