Line X

So im thinking about getting line x on my 03 bumpers and grille. I got a road armor front bumper and stock back bumper and right now the paint is chipping on my road armor and im done being a tool with plasti dip on my grille so its all going to get line x. I was wondering though, would it be possible or advisable to get line x on my steering components I.e. tie rods trac bar and drag link?

I think it would be a waste to coat the steering components with Line-X. You would be better off with fluid film and just respraying ever year or two, tie rods and such don't rust out it is just a cosmetic issue.
