power steering return line

tomorrow i am going to go get a new P/S return line... my question is would it make any difference if i went back with the regular return line or the trailor tow package one

whats the difference in the hook up..... besides the tow package one has more clips to hold it against the crossmember

The longer metal hose aids in cooling the fluid.

i kinda figured that much .... would it make any difference or what? they are both the same price is why i am asking.... but if it wont make any difference then i will just get the other....

i dont think it will make any difference... my metal line isnt busted so i may just get new rubber line and some worm clamps but the way they are selling the line i can get the whole metal line and rubber part for $7 more....

so idk

For a few dollars more it's your choice.

Well if its me, I get the longer one whether I think I need the cooling or not. I haven't ever heard of an "overcooled" ps system.

Where are you getting it from?

I replaced my PS pump and the high pressure line, but couldn't find a return line at the local stores.

I need the trailer or super cooling one. I would run that one over the other regular one if I had the option.

A few years ago when I checked around here, the local stores only had the pump and the high pressure line. I checked Orielly, Advance, and Autozone.

I ended up reusing my old one. It seems to be in good shape still.

I may get a new one anyway though.

Better park on the lawn.

Always opt for a longer hardline for the PS. I had an old S10 with a leaking fitting on the return. Found a return with full cooler at the junkyard. Paid like four bucks. Cheap insurance.
