~Parental Advisory~

Hey Folks,

I use to work in the Retail Store Chains market.

One of the thing I was involved with, was "Loss Control". Thats waste and theft.

I am known at the Marts and other Retail places in this area. I am able to comunicate from time to time with current, Security and Store Management.

Today I was chatting with Store Security, at a large "Mart", regarding the top three items of merchandise that are stolen on a regular basis.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that CD's, and DVD's occupy positions #1 and #2.

But, what is far more alarming, is the item that currently occupies position #3.

Be advised Parent's, the third (#3), most frequently stolen item of merchandise today is the:

~"Pregnancy Test Kit"~

No, this is not store Employee's, its:

~"Teen's Gone Wild"~

I think Parent's would be more at ease, to hear that Condom's was number #3.

But, they are not!

See and my friends think I am boring

I guess I can laugh at them when they find out they are parents, or that they are in jail.

I never had any reason to steal, my parents have always reinforced the fact that they were always there for me and the rest of their children.

Why can't people just....you know....keep it in their pants? Then there's no risk at all.

I would agree that society is going down the tube. It's a pity. This world deserves better from people.

I think I am going to start an undergorund business selling rubbers and home pregnancy kits to teenagers...it's a growth industry!
I think if we removed the moral stigma surrounding sex, teenage pregnancy would become less prevalent. Face it, parents, the reason your kid does something improper is because it is considered improper and rebellious. Your daughters are out there hooking up because she knows how much it would burn you...
and then she gets pregnant and finds out just how much it does burn you. She didn't know before because you didn't have the guts to be real about it and put the realities on the table.
(I am not speaking to anybody specifically, just generally. Don't take this indictment personally!)
I see these commercials on TV telling parents "Talk to your kids, they'll listen." Finally!!! Somebody is holding PARENTS responsible for solving problems...
I think that if a kid is afraid to approach his/her parents regarding anything, the parents are doing something wrong.

This is a hard argument guys, I mean the best time that this situation was taken care of, there was a high level of morality, and churchgoers, people where scared of God, and God dislike premarital sex. Problem solved, today we do not have that. And if we want to get back to were we were with the issues of teenage sex, the need morality, well, do you feel that you have the right to press the issue of religion like that? I prefer to try not and be a hypocrit when I do not have to be. I do nto like it when people press their religion on me, so I am not going to do it to their kids..like I said what to do? Try and find another way to get them not to do it? Just tell them to stay safe and give them a condom? Do y'all realize that we are one of the most uptight countries in regards to sex? Do you realize that sex has been a major factor in the history of the world? Alot of issues revolve around this. It IS a part of our lives, a major part, so what do we teach or kids about it? Good, Bad, ok?

Sex is THE MAJOR FACTOR in the history of the world.
Without it, there would be NO history.

I live directly behind a large "Mart", my property goes back some 500 ft, with the very back heavly wooded.
I find an expended pregnancy or home drug test kit at least once a month, along with used condums and drug crap.

Nice world we live in!
