Removing LARGE decals

Removing LARGE decals

Apparently the paint job on my van consists of large decals covering a dark blue paint, what is the easiest way to remove these decals, heat gun ?

Those kinds of paint jobs typically comprise large vinyl decals along with paint overlaying the original van finish. Good quality decals will be by nature very difficult to remove, it takes a lot of labor and perhaps a few good chemical agents to get this job done.

Check through 3M's site for something specifically designed for this job. Keep in mind once those are gone you might have very obvious signs the underlying paint hasn't faded like the other parts.
