Tonneau Cover

I am considering getting rid of my 2004 f250 for a 2012. Can anyone tell me if my tonneau cover will fit on the 12? Both are short boxes....Thanks

It will probably fit, but I have read that the olde model trucks had a thinner bedrail and it may overhang slightly if it sits above the rails.

I don't know about your Tonneau cover, but I can tell you that a Leer Cap from my Son's 2004 F250 fit onto my 2011's Box perfectly. I think that the boxes on both trucks should be identical

the answer is maybe. I would go to a website that sells your tonneau cover, and see which model they recommend for a 2012? I had a Pace-Edwards bedlocker on my 2005 F350, and mistakenly thought it would fit on my 2011. It did not. Had a hell of a time finding someone to take it off my hands. I ended it up literally giving it away.

I transferred my Extang black max from my 2004 F250 SB to my 2015 F250 SB and it fit perfectly.

I am on my phone so can't see your signature or other details however I bought a '13 S/B recently that had a Retrax Bed cover on it that I took off and am looking to get rid of. Its in great shape and rails just clamp into bedrails. I am southeast of Dallas however if you are anywhere towards Maryland I can even deliver as I am headed that direction Friday night. I will make you a helluva deal on it. Nothing wrong with it, just couldn't use with tank/toolbox.

Depends on the tonneau. Hard fiberglass ones that go over the tailgate probably won't fit.

Even the flush mount ones like my Roll-n-Lock are slightly different. The step tailgate makes the actual inner dimensions of the bed about 3/4" smaller on the newer trucks.
