Cover modification
Can anyone give me some advice or suggestions? I will probably keep the tonno on most of the time, which is why I would like to modify it somewhat permanent! I will put some kind of rain deflectore above the velcro on the box to shed it away from the seam created, I know it will not be 100% weather proof, but better than an open box! Mainly for winter and the snow!
Thanks in advance for your suggestions or help!

I will try to be helpful with this post, so talk to the local marine shops and see who does their tops. That vinyl is a pain to sew and the canvas shops should have equipment capable of making it easy. My other suggestion is do like extang and get a long piece of angle iron (or better yet Aluminum), cut one side down to an inch or so and pop rivot it to the tool box. Then cut the side rails to length, and drill out any necessary holes. I would have the cover cut right in the middle and sewn together so they can make a strong seam .
