1975 f250 360/390
the engine has been swapped twice. From 360 to 390. It has also been painted .Now has headers and dual exhaust. I just bought this truck in OR and now must register in CA. I can not find an emission sticker anywhere under hood,. Or a replacement sticker, even LMC does not have one for this truck. Were EGR required or were F250 exempt at this time? Cali is the worlds biggest PITA when it comes to this stuff. I might need to put manifolds and stock breather on in order to register.
1975 f250 should be pre any real emissions controls. Good luck fighting the state of California, I hate to say it but if I lived out there I'd avoid these trucks period. They take all the fun out of old trucks.

California takes all the fun out of most everything anymore. The law does say 75 and older are smog exempt. But I just have this sinking feeling I should have bought from instate. Will find out on Thursday when CHP does vin id check.

The DMV will also verify the VIN if you bring/drive the truck to their office for registration.
