Also guys I removed the AIR pump years about 3 years ago due to a bad bearing and what i did was block the vacuum line from it put a 1/4 inch bolt in there i removed the steel barbed pipe on the right side beside the exhaust manifold then the hose it was connected to, behind the engine i shoved a plastic bag in that hose. But the vac lines are still hooked up to thr TAD and TAB solenoids do i still need those? If not what how do i bypass, or get rid of them? And what else can I get rid of in the AIR system? Thanks again for all your guys help

I bought a smog pump delete pulley off of summit. Its made for the 302 but fits perfectly fine on my 351. You will need to leave TAB and TAD hooked up electronically to not have a CEL but just cap the connections at the intake and unhook from TAB and TAD. If not using air pump system you do not need vacuum lines to it. You can leave the connections on the TAB and TAD uncapped or cap them if you prefer. I can't remember but I think I ended up not needing to run a vacuum line to the tin can (mines plastic in my 94).

I put bolts in the back of my heads where the smog tubes hook up. I heard you are supposed to use a certain length bolt but I just used what fit but not too long and its been fine going on 2 years now. If you really want to do it right you would want to replace the cat as the stock ones are designed to run with the smog pump but its supposedly not necessary to replace the cat although I did since I had the ugly torpedo cat I wanted gone anyways. The smog pump only works while the truck is warming up from my understanding.

My cats are there but gutted so no there not there just for looks no emissions check here in Missouri but back to the bolts on the back of the heads i cant seem to find where abouts they would go? Cant find any images either, maybe i just havent looked hard enough. I think they said they are 5/8-11x3/4 one guy even said he used 1" and used 2 washers. As far as the TAD and TAB u just cap off the top port I think? Oh and i already ordered my silicone vac. lines from the link you gave me thanks again! Any more help on where those bolts go if possible is very appreciated!! Cheers man thanks

Also I have to vac. Canisters on on the right side and the other in front of the coolant and windshield wiper reservoir to store vacuum! Both metal but dont leak yet and i just bought a shorter belt no pulley though which works good at least for mine.

I used the vacuum t's up by the ports i think its injector sensors? drivers side towards the back of motor on top 2 black boxes plugged in, you end up having to make 2 lines into 4 connections there.

I dont have my truck tonight its off having the front end looked at or I would take a picture for you.

Ok thanks i did use on tee on the passenger side because there were two red plastic hoses connected together one to the intake, the other to the egr solenoid the one line went to the vacuum reserve up to the port on the left side of the reserve.

Also i dont have the smog pump anymore can i delete the vacuum lines to the TAD and TAB solenoid as i will not be hooking the smog pump back up. Then just cap off the hole on the vac reserve, on the passenger side of the truck, where the black vacuum hose goes to the TAD and TAB solenoids any input, anyone? And thanks again to all!!
