I've seen on another site where a fellow used this setup from Tractor Supply. I'm sure these come in a variety of inlet/outlet pipe sizes, and the canister is removable. I did some looking and you can get #50 or #80 mesh SS screens to go in them.
Maybe you should run it back to the oil fill cap. Lol
At that rate the oil filling the catch can, im wondering how much oil is on my intercooler,(remember I lost a gallon of oil coming from cali) I still get a little of blue haze at start up but in pretty sure its the left over oil in the intercooler draining into the intake ports. Warm runs exelent with little to no black smoke.

As long as you return it to the doghouse vent on the valve cover, it will vent fine
I built my own too mounted it behind the cab and ran the exit hose out to the bumper. It does not catch much and a lot gets blown out the back. Not sure it was worth it at all.
