I do. I swapped vc side to side and tig the oe fitting from the alluminum elbow in my inlet pipe. The catch can hangs in the v in front of the inlet y to the heads. It does accumulate some oil. Not much long term testing tho sadly.
Welding aluminum is not my strogest point, I might just end up building one, any recommendations for on what to use for the mesh inside? I thought of putting in some fine Brillo but dont know if it will work.
My engine is bad it has a crap load of blow-by followed by oil, all I want is to keep it away from my intercooler while I get the funds for a rebuild on my spare engine.
Right now I have it vented to atmosphere but smokes like crazy on stop lights.
The fitting is metal .it just has one screw to hold it in to the aluminum housing. I tigers it into the metal inlet pipe. I can't tig aluminum at home sadly.

I've seen on another site where a fellow used this setup from Tractor Supply. I'm sure these come in a variety of inlet/outlet pipe sizes, and the canister is removable. I did some looking and you can get #50 or #80 mesh SS screens to go in them.
I gutted the doghouse too and pulled the mesh screen.
I found it would get filled with oil and not let gasses escape as easy.
I dont want that back pressure from the blowby.
