I bundle and use Gieco. Since my popup is over 15 years old I was required to send them pictures. My pup is in excellent shape so no problem getting it covered.
I have American Family on everything, have towing on the vehicles. When we did have to use the towing on our old truck while traveling with camper, I had to pay for towing the camper. They don't offer towing for pull behinds, thought I was covered with the truck towing. My mistake, might be changed now as that was 2 years ago.
Check with AAA They insured my new F450 and trailer. When I broke down with the old 7.3 they sent two tow trucks one for truck and one for the trailer. And there pricing was good
Car, Bronco, Truck, Motorcycle, Tool trailer, Travel Trailer, all with Farmers. No additional charges for my trailers as they are covered under my regular auto. I just gave them the VIN and tag #s so if I ever need POI they can send it right then. That covers them on the road and then my Homeowners covers them everywhere else, at the house or where ever I stop.
I swear.... No matter what insurance company I have had or who I deal with they manage to screw stuff up. I have spent the last 2 days trying to make sure the policy for the new camper will be in effect on Saturday but not having them cancel the trade in camper's policy until then. I am still not convinced it is right BUT if something happens to the old one on the way to the dealer on Saturday I am saving my voice mails and emails and IF it is not covered I will sue their pants off!
Then we had to modify the homeowners policy... What a PITA!
Progressive insurance- same as my van. Business use policy. Van and trailer is $113/month for 10 payments per year.
Yearly for the trailer is about $150. They let me declare trailer value- $7500.
