7 hole...............
7 hole...............
So I wanted some rims to mount my summer tires on. I found some about 75 miles from home , went and bought them for $200.
Got looking at them and wondered if my wheel nuts were the same , so I took a hubcap off my truck to look.
Guess what ive got 7 studs and the wheels I bought are ordinary 6 hole Ford 1/2 ton rims.
Nothing on my truck says anything about it but I know they used to make a Ford 7700 in about 2000, I thought they quit.
So now I have 4 stock rims that don't fit.

So all long beds have 7 holes?
Thought I knew something about Fords?
The 6.5' bed is typically the "long bed" on the F150. You shouldn't be able to find a 04-08 6.5' config with 7lugs. Where my knowledge gets fuzzy is the cab configs that you could get an 8' bed on...I know about yours, but I cannot recall at the moment if the 8' bed was available on the super cab. Regardless, the 8' bed is typically a dead ringer for the heavy payload package and the 7lug wheels. I have not yet seen a F150 in 8' bed with 6lugs.
However, when you get into the 09+ trucks, the heavy payload package can be had on the SuperCrew trucks, and that bed is 6.5'...you cannot get that package in SCrew 5.5' config.

I used to own one. You're right about the SuperCab longbed trucks though, I believe the 163" wheelbase trucks were only available with the heavy payload package for these years. There are plenty of regular cab 8' bed trucks out there with the standard payload package though.
