I have mine just left of the rear view mirror attached to the headliner but My microphone picks up a lot of inside background noise. I am beginning the to add sound dampener to the inside but it's going to be a while. Is there a better location or microphone so that I can actually use hands free on my phone?
Mounted mine on the steering column right beside the hazards, seemed like the best spot that wouldn't pick up a lot of ambient or travel noise. I used to have mine on the A-pillar but it would pick up a lot of background.
I also have mine in the A-Pillar drivers side corner and have 0 issues. Actually it sounds better and with less feedback than my wife's 2013 Escape with Ford Sync / hands free calling.
