I understand what you mean on the firing orders of the injectors, but wouldn't they have had to use the harness to include the maf plug?
Who knows what they did. They could have hacked together various harnesses, they could have tried to correct the injector firing order issue by switching the connections around.

But first since this is a built engine, you need to verify which camshaft is in the engine. Thats what dictates firing order. If you put a 302HO firing order camshaft in, then you now have the HO firing order.
So you need to make sure both the injectors and the plug wires are in the HO firing order..one or both of those being wired wrong will definitely cause lack if power and other issues.
i know the ignition firing order is right because I just did all new plugs n wires. In the process of tracing wires just haven't had the time with all the work I have going on
