Do these wheels fit??

Anybody have any more info on these wheels? Seller says they are 17". Do they fit the Ex without spacers? I'm pretty sure I've seen an Ex or 2 on craigslist with these, I'm just trying to confirm. It seems like a good deal and I already have aftermarket 17" so I can just swap the tires and balance them and I'm good to go. I'd love to get rid of the aftermarket wheels. I think it's part of my 75 mph vibration issue.

Thanks in advance!

They look like the chrome clad steel rims that came on some lower optioned pickups and EXs before the SD suspension change in '05. Christina (Sammie0126 runs them) and I'm pretty sure they are 16"s and are actually made for our pre-change suspension geometry.

I disagree... I think they are newer wheels Tom. I'll see what I can dig up.

It seems Tom is right on this one. I just did some searching and it turns out they are 16" from 99-04 SDs. So much for swapping my current tires. I guess I'm going to keep looking for a set with tires or a 17" rim. Did Ford make a 17" rim that fits the Ex or are we stuck with 16" or the Harley/Lariat 18"s?

Nope, I was wrong. Those look like the ones for the 05 and below truck making them the correct backspacing

The '04 H-D, Lariat, King Ranch and SVT 18" rims are the ONLY OEM rims in any size larger than 16" that are designed to work with our suspension geometry.
With the '05 pickup suspension changes that also included new bigger brakes the minimum size rim the '05+ trucks can run is 17" and I think the even newer trucks might be a minimum of 18". But of course those rims will have the later model backspacing that would require spacers to properly fit our EXs.

I really like the 20" split spoke design from the newer platinum trucks with the chrome face and painted black inside. But I can't afford that and spacers and a lift. So I need to settle on the older stuff or the Harley style. The rims I have now are Helo 835 17" in chrome from the PO. But they are NOT hub centric and I strongly believe that's contributing to the 75 mph vibration I have. I might just settle for the original 16". What the biggest size tire that fits without rubbing? I think I read 295 somewhere here....
