460 stalling..smog delete
I have a 1988 F350 7.5L 460 I have been working on. I have replaced the entire ignition and fuel systems. She only has 97K miles on her but she sat up for a LONG time. I deleted the cat and gained power and thought she was running great until my air pump started to seize up. Also, it will occasionally stall for seemingly no reason, crank back up and keep running like nothing happened. I feel like when we removed the cat something isn't right. We put metal tape over the metal pipe that is coming from the air pump but that is it. I would like to delete the air pump correctly...what all do I need to do? I've heard of EGR delete kits etc. Would welcome some advice. It's confusing because she runs SO well most of the time but once she's heated up I get the stalling issue and loss of power again.
