Oil Pan Change

I need some real data and no guessing here.
Has ANYONE installed a Milodon 7qt. (#31130) into a '71 F-250 CS/2wd/4spd/390/PS front sump truck? If so, did it fit or require some mods?
(FWIW, the 32224 windage tray WILL NOT WORK with a stroker engine.)

I know what the Milodon site states but I'm not convinced the pan will work. I pulled some rough measurements from my friends 69 390/auto wo/PS crawling through the mud but I'm just NOT SURE the Milodon pan will work.

Give them a call or email, with your engine specs. They'll help you out. Are you concerned about the fitting the front sump by the crossmember?

I'm concerned over the AMOUNT of clearance between the pan & the X-member. Is it 1/16", 1/2" or ???

Gary, I guess I'm not making myself clear. I already have the pan. What I'm trying to find is the amount of clearance between the Milodon pan and the X-member. I have no way to do a mockup to see what the clearance actually is. The vendor saying the pan will clear is of little use to me.
