7.3 idi e40d transmission problem
Hi. I have a 92 7.3 idi with a e40d transmission. The truck sometimes seems like it doesn't want to start out in 1st gear. And the tach doesn't work at idle until I put my foot on the throttle. Any ideas on what this could be?

It could be the tach sensor. If you checked the computer for codes it would be a big help to diagnose this.
