Inverter Name question

Inverter....... battery charger.... converter....

RV's have battery chargers... 120 volts AC to 13.6 DC filtered and regulated.

as NORMALLY inverters "Convert" 12 volts DC to 120 Volts AC... Pure Wave OR modified Square Wave.

Converters normally DC to AC ...or AC to DC... voltage remaining the same.

Dynamo .. is another story and YES, I used to repair these.
both belt driven.. and 6 volt motor driven versions... later 12 volt driven versions.

YES,, I could not SLEEP last night.
