The label on my ECM reads F81F-12A650-BF.
Searching indicates its a 1999 F250 7.3L.
That sounds right.

Does anyone have this same vehicle? If so, can you post a picture of the emission decal?

Below is from a 2000 model. The 1999 version may or may not look the same and may also be different if the vehicle was sold in California or not

What's your build date, and is it a stick or automatic? Early 99 auto have cat's and sticks don't.

 

Unknown Build date. All labels missing. Its an automatic

 

Do you have a cat? You should if it's an automatic.

 

VIN number should lead you to the build date. If it's a late '99 auto I don't think it should have a CAT. '99.5 to early 2003 autos have no CAT, sticks will. Been down this road several times with muffler shops and smog guys

 

My neighbor had L99 with stick and know cat from the factory. So I don't think that is true every where. We are in California. I believe the 2000 build date were different. At least here.
