I see another Classic Ford in your shop, a 51-52 truck. Is that yours?
I'm guessing hot-rod is referencing dry ice blasting, something similar to this.

This method is really kool if you've never seen or done it. Couple years ago my company was remodeling the building and they rented a dry ice blaster to take the paint off the brick walls. So I got to use it all week. We got dry ice delivered by the big plastic rolling toats with dry ice pellets. Worked great no mess. The ice evaporates immediately and best of all no clean up except for what your removing from the part.

Did you drop the pan to get the little bits of old nylon cam gear out of there?
Looks great, BTW.

Hi folks,

here some news from Crusty

Between Christmas and New Year I have sandblasted the frame... What a FU** job I'll NEVER do that again

Next, I painted the frame with a special frame color

Next step: the cab. I had to clean the bottom. This job I have done with the wire brush and a power drill.

After that i painted the underbody with a special primer

Then three layers under floor paint with a spezial oil in it

In the time where the color has dried I have the rear brakes overhauled
