I got it back in December (2002), and I believe it was a little over
$300. This is for the stainless steel version. It is a little louder that the stock system, but a very nice mellow tone. On the
highway, there is not much difference than the stock exhaust.
It doesn't have the obnoxious "ROAR" that I've heard with some
Flowmasters....

I have a 2000 B3000 3.0L 2WD and i get about the same, 17-20 city, 21-24 Highway.
Just bought mine, but driving her home 200 miles at 70mph with the 2.5 liter reg cab, got 22.5 mpg, hoping this improves otherwise guessing I need to slow down to improve it.
Just made a trip this weekend of almost all highway miles. Mostly doing 80 on the interstate with the AC on and got 19 out of the 93 in my sig. In town I usually get around 15-16, with a heavy foot, and as much as 21 on the highway if I keep my speed down and the AC off. I check milage every tank and always fill it till gas is standing at the top of the fill hole. Pretty happy with what I'm getting. I will be getting a Gibson soon and if I notice any substantial difference I will be sure to post. Can't wait.
I think it all depends on how you drive. I just got through with pulling a small sailboat about 500 miles with my 94 ranger 2.3 supercab with the a/c on all the way (raven black). I thought it would kill my milage but I got 24.8 which is not much worse than I would get without it because I would be driving much faster. The worst I ever got was 14 pulling my self contained camper and the best was 31, but back and forth to work is about 25 and highway 27 to 28 unless I'm trying to make time then around 25.
Wow, what a difference... my 01' 2.5 L 4-cyl 5-speed gets 27-28 mpg on the highway at 65-70 mph. I averaged city/highway during 12 fuelings to be exactly 24 mpg... it's a dog, but not a thirsty one
