EGR Delete kit
"You are correct. The nipples allow for a true in line 100% coolant filtration at the oil cooler exit port which will give you the most efficient filtration. The plumbing is much cleaner and simpler using the GEN3.
Your oil temps will rise slowly when the filter starts clogging up, you will see a gradual increase in temps and you will have time to service it. I personally like this setup due to the fact that you can actually see when it's time to clean your filter rather than to needlessly take apart your filter just to inspect for contamination. This setup is ideal for anyone who is monitoring their oil temperatures."
The IPR was having leaks at the connection to the intake, and other places within the unit.
I wonder if he has second thoughts about the IPR kit, or if IPR is addressing the concerns.
Edit: And it's casting.
It's Vince here just dropping in to clarify some facts here. Ed brought this to my attention.
The GEN2 does not have any welds that can crack due to not having a hose to facilitate movement. If this statement were to be true, almost every part bolted to the engine that "doesn't move" could potentially crack? If you came across this info somewhere please let me know where you found it at so I can address it.
Anthony and I had a discussion about the GEN2 he welded on the intake. All of our castings are sealed before being machined, The sealing process would be compromised under extreme temps such as welding the part where temps exceed 500 degrees.
The most recent video was posted 5/2014, as the year passed we've made improvements and implemented stricter quality control standards. Once in a while we do have to warranty some defects. The amount of kits sold vs. the defects are minimal. We are not perfect, but I we do strive to make some of the best stuff in the industry and we stand behind it 100% with unparalleled customer service. If anyone disagrees please let me know personally so IPR can improve.
I know everyone loves our IPR GEN2 Delete Kits, but no one mentions anything about the quality of our up pipes? We are light years ahead of the competition. We just recently started supplying the up pipes with OEM spec 10mm flange head 10.9 grade bolts.
In fact, I plan on it for sure. When the time comes to dig into the engine valley of the farm truck, I'll do a Gen3 with OEM oil cooler and IPR up pipe.
The simple fact that they responded to my email inquiry so quickly leads me to believe they are not the kind of company to just leave you in the lurch should you have a problem.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Like I said when I started this thread, the mechanic that I know that does these on the side swears by the Sinister kit but the IPR Gen2 kit, hands down, looks of better quality, especially the up pipe.
I wouldn't mind being a sponsor here as long as the moderators aren't so biased and only willing to support vendors who hand them out freebies if you know what I mean!
If you guys have any questions please call me. If you need me to respond to post on this forum email me a link. I've got way too many projects and too little time. 2016 is going to be a great year for more IPR innovations.

Vince's commitment to his product line is yet another reason why we are happy to have his product on the shelf! Just compare the IPR offerings to the competition side by side. The difference is clear!
