GVWR according to the door sticker is either 11,500 or 11,600... forget which.

Thanks. So being over a few hundred pounds... how big of a problem is that? Is that the overweight/overloaded thing people talk about? By comparison, what is the GVWR number on a dually? Diesel, standard bed, crew cab, Lariat, 2011 or newer?

Newer pickup dually, 14k; chassis cab, more.

After worrying too much about this, IMO, the main issue is to not overload your tires. The engine, frame, trans, brakes, etc.are the same as the dually; the rear is rated much higher than the rawr - limited by the springs.

'11 and '12 were 13,200. in 13 they bumped the F350 dually to 14k.

Yep, bigger brakes is one reason.
