Hi All, I really like the look of the new 16 Limited, love the 22inch wheels and grill!
However I find the options to be well....limited...for what I'm looking for.
I'd really like the max tow package and trailer side mirrors but it doesn't seem like those options are available. Anyone have the scoop on why that is?
They are available on the platinum so that is always an option, but I do not believe the 22inch wheels are available on that model.

Anyway, thanks for helping a newbie out!
Couple of limiting factors, those 22" wheels are part of the reason the other part is being fully loaded there is not much room for payload / towing.
I am in the same boat, want a fully optioned truck with the ability to tow something 8~10k lbs in luxury, so either a Diesel F150 or F250, not sure.
I also built out a Lariat for fun, but once fully optioned , the max payload and tow wend down considerably.
How is that? I just had my 2016 lariat built, maxed out with every option except the parking assist, assisted cruise control and automatic steps. My max towing is 11,600 lbs. Just a few hundred lbs under the max towing advertised for the Ford F 150s.
Anyone who is putting heavy 22" wheels and rubber band tires on a truck doesn't care (or isn't being realistic) about utility. It's the Gangsta package of the lineup.
That said, your dealer might be able to order options that aren't listed on the build page.
On the max payload, the top end truck you can get it with seems to be the Lariat with 500a. I guess Ford thinks anyone who wants the luxury packages isn't going to want the stiffer ride.

Right but go to a lot and look at the numbers for a fully optioned F150 Lariat and payload goes down, now towing should be the same.
I suppose the 22" wheels would impact the MAX towing package, they do offer the standard tow package which should suffice.
I don't understand the trailer side view mirrors however. They are just some mirrors.
The more options you throw into a truck the more weight you're adding so I suppose that's a logical reason for the decline in the max tow rating. I'll only be lugging 6 to 7k pounds anyway so I don't necessarily need the most weight possible. But you never know when that new must have wake board boat is going come out and weigh a ridiculous amount.
Extra towing capacity is nice to have. I've towed heavy in my 2012 EB and didn't have any issues. The trailer towing mirrors are nice and can be added by the dealer for about $800. If you don't mind doing it yourself you can add the mirrors much cheaper. There are some users on this site that bought after market mirrors and are happy with them.
